LPKF is a producer of two major types of stretching frames; mechanical, ZelFlex ZR and pneumatic, ZelFlex Z4P. With ZelFlex frames glue and cleaning agents are not required. Direct clamping of stencils is possible because of patented perforation. LPKF permits all purchasers of ZelFlex frames to reproduce our patented perforation royalty free. All frames are reusable, what is the real bonus when the multiple projects are required.
ZelFlex Z4P
LPKF pneumatic stretching frames provide perfect and constant tension of the stencil all over the working area. Unique patented system of stretching with compressed air provides perfect and uniform tension of stencil across whole working area. A patented perforation guarantees quick, direct and repetitive clamping of SMT metal stencils. ZelFlex Z4P is traditional 33mm thick frame, produced in different dimensions to fit to most available printers.
ZelFlex Z4P Slim is a pneumatic stretching frame and has all the benefits of ZelFlex Z4P. Thickness of the slim version is 25mm which fit into smaller printers, i.e. prototyping and small batch production. An additional benefit for this frame is its reduced weight. LPKF ZelFlex Slim is available in different dimensions. An adapter to fit the frame into the larger printing machine is available.
ZelFlex Protect
This unique protective system incorporates special protection frame to protect the operator from sharp stencil edges. The handling of the stencil is even easier than with pneumatic stretching frames, while all benefits of ZelFlex Z4P remain. With the ZelFlex Protect frame in place washing and archiving are simplified, while stencil can be permanently attached to the frame. Stencils can be also easily dismounted and washed - either separately or together with the frame. A further benefit of the protective system is greater protection of stencils.
ZelFlex ZR
Mechanical stretching frames, LPKF ZelFlex ZR, allow direct and fast clamping of milled polymer stencils as well as metal SMT stencils. This double-sided stretching frame is especially suitable for small batch production and prototyping. A patented tension system provides the best and uniform tension over the whole range of double-sided stretching frames. The adjustable rear bar provides the possibility of clamping smaller and thinner templates. Mechanical stretching frames are available in different dimensions up to 23".
