LPKF is a producer of two types of stretching frames; mechanical - ZelFlex ZR and pneumatic - ZelFlex Z4P and ZelFlex Protect. With ZelFlex frames glue and cleaning agents are not required. Direct clamping of stencils is possible because of patented perforation. LPKF permits all purchasers of ZelFlex frames to reproduce our patented perforation royalty free. All frames are reusable, what is the real bonus when the multiple projects are required.
ZelFlex Z4P
LPKF pneumatic stretching frames provide perfect and constant tension of the stencil all over the working area. Unique patented system of stretching with compressed air provides perfect and uniform tension of stencil across whole working area. A patented perforation guarantees quick, direct and repetitive clamping of SMT metal stencils. ZelFlex Z4P is traditional 33 mm (1.3˝)thick frame, produced in different dimensions to fit to most available printers.
ZelFlex Z4P Slim is a thinner pneumatic stretching frame with all the benefits of the ZelFlex Z4P. The Slim version with its height of 25 mm (1˝) and reduced weight fits into smaller printers, particularly suitable for prototyping and small batch production.
ZelFlex Protect
This unique protective system based on the ZelFlex frame concept, combined with the patented protective sub-frame. The handling of the stencil is even easier than with standard pneumatic stretching frames, while all benefits remain. The ZelFlex pneumatic system guaranties the same level of stencil tension even after long periods of time. The height of the ZelFlex Protect is 25 mm (1˝) and features an increased working area. With adapters, it fits most printers. Stencils can be also easily dismounted and washed - either separately or together with the frame. A further benefit of the protective system is greater protection of stencils.
ZelFlex ZR
Mechanical stretching frames, LPKF ZelFlex ZR, allow direct and fast clamping of milled polymer stencils as well as metal SMT stencils. This double-sided stretching frame is especially suitable for small batch production and prototyping. A patented tension system provides the best and uniform tension over the whole range of double-sided stretching frames. The adjustable rear bar provides the possibility of clamping smaller and thinner templates. Mechanical stretching frames are available in different dimensions up to 584 mm (23").
